About Black Wall St:
In 1921, Tulsa, Oklahoma's Greenwood District, also known as Black Wall Street, was one of the wealthiest African- American communities in the United States. On May 31, 1921, when mobs of White residents attacked the suburb, a massacre occurred leaving hundreds of African-American lost their lives and thousands left homeless because of racial inequality and injustice.
